Tool specialist KS Tools has considerably extended its range of engine setting /locking tools. The supplier has moreover provided a database in the internet for motor vehicle mechanics with which they can quickly find the appropriate KS Tools engine setting /locking tool by entering the OE part number or other relevant vehicle data. At the same time they can select between three different paths for identifying the correct article: both make, model, year of manufacture and cubic capacity as well as the engine code and the OE part number lead to the required product. “We have had engine setting /locking tools in the product range for a few years now”, explains the KS Tools project management. “However, our previous offering was not available for as wide a range of vehicles as is now the case.” KS Tools has now extended its product range appreciably and offers engine setting /locking tools for approx. 95 percent of vehicle in Europe.
“We know that until now it hasn‘t been easy to identify the right tool from the open market”, it continues. “Often enough, only an OE tool would be available.” With the aid of a new database, from now on KS Tools engine setting /locking tools will be assigned to the part number of the vehicle manufacturer. In this way, the motor vehicle professionals are able to identify the correct service tools reliably and quickly.
The enquiry is quite simple: the mechanic only has to enter the make, model, year of manufacture and cubic capacity into a screen template and all the suitable tools appear immediately.
