Cut pipes cleanly
KS Tools presents a new type of telescopic pipe cutter
- Rapid adjustment
- Cutting wheel and counter-pressure rollers on ball bearings
- Integrated de-burring tool

Cutting pipes is one of the everyday tasks of plumbing, heating and air-conditioning professionals. If the tool is of poor quality, the work will not be perfect. Tools specialist KS Tools now includes a telescopic pipe cutter in its product range which is both versatile in use and easy to handle. Thanks to the four ball-bearing supported counter-pressure rollers, the tool moves smoothly across the pipe without deforming it. This exact guidance also ensures a right-angled cut. The cutting wheel, which also runs on ball bearings, moves almost without resistance and thus enables precise and almost effortless cutting. A sturdy and particularly smooth-sliding telescopic spindle ensures rapid positioning of the cutting wheel.

A sufficiently sharp cutting wheel is, of course, obligatory when working with such a tool. But it‘s not everything.

The tool has an ergonomically designed metal twist grip for ease of operation and long service life. At the same time, a special hardened cutting wheel produced from tough thread die steel ensures long tool life.
A further feature: the cutting wheel is protected from contact with the counter pressure roller as the adjustment travel is limited.

The new four-roller guide of the telescopic pipe cutter from KS Tools makes for particularly light work. All rollers are fitted with bearings so that the cutter travels around the pipe as if on rails. Crushed pipes become a thing of the past with this tool. “On top of this, the four rollers on the telescopic pipe cutter glide significantly more precisely around the pipe than with the usual two found on most other such tools. And because the cutting wheel is also fitted with bearings, the cutting proceeds smoothly and with particular ease.”

KS Tools supplies the tool with a cutting wheel magazine including an additional cutting wheel so that a sharp replacemen hased later individually. Also included: a deburring blade which can be inserted and removed from the pipe cutter as required. It is pivot-mounted and aligns itself to the workpiece being deburred. So with just this one tool, neatly prepared pipes can be achieved for perfect, leak-free connections.
