Tool specialist KS Tools, based in Heusenstamm in Hessen, has now introduced a particularly practical foldable hand lamp to its range, providing workshop staff with reliable illumination from every angle. Thanks to the dimmer, the light intensity can be set to the exact requirements of each individual. An additional highlight is the integrated powerbank, which ensures that there is always enough “juice” on the go, even for other devices. And a hand lamp that is essentially in constant use must first and foremost be bright and reliable. But the new lamp from KS Tools can do even more. It is continuously dimmable, so it can always provide the perfect lighting conditions. And its integrated powerbank can also get other tools going, even when there are no plug sockets to hand.
Bi-directional illumination
The control LED on the new, foldable mobile workshop hand lamp shows car mechanics how much “juice” they have left at any given moment. This allows them to charge their helpful light in good time and obtain a replacement before it goes dark right in the middle of a complicated task. This hand lamp is also extremely bright.
Its 10-watt COB LEDs are set directly into a carrier board and not into an additional housing like other LEDs, which would reduce their light output. They are compact and set close together, thus providing very intense light with the highest energy efficiency. In addition to the COB LED module, the hand lamp is also equipped with a 5-watt LED head light. This means that the lamp users can always find the right angle, no matter how tricky the access.
Flexible and safe charging
The foldable LED lamp can either be charged using the charger supplied or directly through the USB-C port which ensures that the lamp can be supplied with power when used on the go in service vehicle. The charger switches off automatically once the lamp is fully charged to ensure the battery is kept in prime condition.
Multiple attachment possibilities
The impact resistant housing is covered with high quality rubber and fits comfortably and very safely in the hand. It is additionally splash water protected according to IP 64, so it can be used outdoors without restriction. If you need your hands free, the hand lamp can be mounted on its 360 degree foldaway magnetic stand or attached to a suitable spot on the vehicle.
The lamp is always to hand, as it is fitted with a belt clip. If there is no magnetic attachment option available, there will undoubtedly be a place where the hand lamp can be hung by its hook. A great feature of this lamp is that it charges fully within 3 hours. It then provides a total of 3.5 hours of illumination and thus comfortably lasts half a working day when used continuously.
